Ferretti, made beautiful feminine things, like the group of
wispy, chiffon and organza ivory peasant blouses with sleeves jacket, ruffled
necklines high and traditional lace embellishments.
A particularly crafty
release seemed to be exquisite, the circular knitting lace doily trim. Paired
with a white skirt with contrasting black lace and a neat cropped jacket with
black stitching, the look represented a holding of waking dream that could easily
pass through to reality.
Similarly, the black sweep knitwear, ethereal black and
white lace dresses and short dresses with elaborate embroidery that reflect the
deep tones, light of dawn and dusk. But some of the heftier looks - the
floor-length skirts jacquard tapestry in particular - were too folk to pop out
of the wood.
